Object

To move all the cards to the foundations.

Layout

•	4 foundation piles (across top) - build up regardless of suit from Ace to King.

•

4 tableau piles (below foundations) - cards are played here from the stock. A card from the stock may be played to any tableau pile. The top card of each tableau pile is available for play on the foundations or built down regardless of suit on another tableau pile. Only one card at a time may be moved. Spaces are filled by a card from the stock or by a King.

•	stock (face up on left) - top card is available for play on the tableau or foundations. No redeals.

History

Shifting is a version of Sir Tommy. Unlike Sir Tommy, cards may be shifted among the tableau piles.
